Wonderful! The Rhapsodie.. When I was little, my teacher gave me a simplified version. Loved hearing this. Thank you so much. What a great job. Merry Christmas, if you don't get another selection out by the New Year. The best of everything.

Thank you for the very exciting "wild hunt" etude. Last year I played "Unstern" (Evil Star) by Liszt for Halloween. I don't know if you have Halloween as a holiday in Germany. It falls on Oct. 31st. This was a most interesting piece, rendered so well. A bit too difficult for me, I dare say. Halloween is a "fun" time for kids. They dress up in wierd costumes but some are pretty constumes. Then they go around knocking on doors saying "Trick O Treat" You can give them a bit of candy. Also a Christian Catholic Holy Day, where one prays to the Saints. Perhaps you know all of this. Keep up your wonderful selections. I love Liszt. Thanks again.

Thank you once more for the lovely selections, The K..... No. 8 and the Wanderer from the Lyric Pieces. I just downloaded "Arietta" - I think it is one of the lyric pieces. Very simple, but has that wonderful Grieg flavor to it. I enjoy your site so much. Have a wonderful Autumn season.
God Bless the work of your hands.

I listened to all, The Schumann No. 7 and the No. 3 Impromptu - Schubert, simply took my breath away. I studied the "Butterfly" - Grieg, as I imagine many did during their course of study. Delightful. How many rednitions of a butterly are there? I came across a duet in Vivaldi for piano/flute and in my Celtic flute book another "Butterfly" and heard a wonder duet by Chinese master for Piano and Flute entitled "Butterfly Lovers." The artists were wonderful. I am wondering if the No. 1 Schubertis difficult, as it is charming. A wonderful selection. I didn't get around to hearing them until now as I was on vacation for a few days. Keep up your good work, your audience loves it all, believe me. We are also educated in more and more piano literature through your efforts. Thank you. God Bless, as ever........ I remain one of your faithful listeners.

Hello Bernd
A slow movement on the Kr...No. 6, a bit different. A pensive work. The Grieg is quite animated. Is it difficult to play? Sounds very amusing. What a contrast of tempos and sounds. Thank you. It is always such a pleasure. I listened to them early in the morning before starting the day. Please continue with your wonderful selections. It educates us.

Hi Bernd...:)

about the midi and mp3 files, let me say my opinion:
- mp3 is wonderful, as you are able, on any computer, to hear exactly what you played
- midi file is also great, because it contains the score and allows to play-back your music on a digital piano (giving a particular charm to the hearing)

So thank you for both music files you make available to us on your beautiful site!

Herzliche Grüße,
Pietro [cecchi.infinito.it]

My Dear Mr. Krueger,

I've spent most of the morning udating my music files from your website since the purchase of my new computer. Thank you so much for giving me the chance to update the Classics. I didn't find the Schubert D 899, 2 and 4 as well as the Moments Musicaux D 780, 1-6 on the MP3 page. Is it because you've not posted yet? I will keep checking your site. I find the MP3's sound so much better than the midi files, which is just my preference.

Again, thank you so much for sharing! I'm looking forward to more of your music choices.

Warm Regards,
Gayle

Thank you for your selections. The K.. No. 5 is very coquettish and playful sounding. Delightful. Also the Grieg elf..quite amusing. I think it is a series of pieces. I should look them up. But, thank you again for your choice in pianistic works. God Bless You.

Very nice work ;-).

For the MIDI part, I have thought about such a thing also, but, as you say, it is really a lot of work, and I prefer not to give my whole time to it.

How can you say you are a layman in terms of music? That's a joke, right ;-)?

In the morning, when I prepare for coffee, I often listen to classical music, including your's. And I listen to very famous popular musicians, much more popular than you are. But I must say that I like your interpretations/play most; I think that is because you don't tend to "overinterprete" compositions, but rather leave them as they were written originally (in notes).

Don't get me wrong, I think (of course) you also interprete the compositions, but for my taste in a very cool and direct approach. I simply like it.

So thank you for sharing your impression of music. And always remember: when I want to listen to, say Chopin - YOU are my first reference.

Alles Gute!

I really like your classic piano midi music. I use SynthFont to load Steinway 136mb soundfont to play back the midi files. The result is amazing. It is as if I am standing right beside the classic Grand Piano, that realistic feel. I can see how much painstaking work you have put in all the midi files. I am a computer software developer and have some basic understanding of midi format and the process to produce midi music. Thank you very much for making these master pieces available over the Internet.

Happy New Year to you and all the classic music lovers.
